Dr Al Jaber highlighted the UAE’s leadership in global climate and development discussions, emphasizing the importance of including everyone in the conversation. He stressed the urgent need for all countries to work together to reduce greenhouse gas emissions to zero by 2050 and emphasized that cooperation and unity are essential for making progress. Looking ahead, Dr. Al Jaber called for countries to set more ambitious goals for reducing emissions, increase investment in climate-friendly technologies, and ensure that financial institutions provide support for climate adaptation efforts.
