Exercise Ranvijay- IAF conducted integrated operations in the UB Hills and Central Air Command Area of Responsibility

Exercise Ranvijay- On June 27th 2023, IAF concluded Exercise Ranvijay whose aim was to enhance the skills of fighter pilots through day and night operations involving combat aircraft, which was carried out from various air bases under the Central Air Command, headquartered in Prayagraj., where the aim was to increase the gamification of the Indian air forces of India for future conflict of any kind.

The operation was carried out at various air bases under the Central Air Command while featuring the participation of various fighter pilots from different squadrons and units within the Indian Air Force

Exercise Ranvijay- Aim and Objective

The aim of Exercise Ranvijay is to increase the capabilities of integrated operation, where they had put special emphasis on coordination and cooperation among various combat assets while enhancing the Air Force’s electronic warfare capabilities while aiming at increasing the skills of fighter pilots through day and night operations of combat aircraft like Su-30s.

Exercise Ranvijay- Significance

Following the plan for establishing theatre commands(A joint command of the army, air force and navy), these types of activity included joint operation exercises of different fighter squadrons where they integrated their operation with the Indian army will improve the mixed capabilities of Indian defence forces while increasing efficiency in the face of evolving security challenges, while increasing better understanding and cooperation between different branches of the Indian military.
