Global Resolution on AI: The United Nations General Assembly adopted the first global resolution on Artificial Intelligence (AI) co-sponsored by 123 countries, including Russia, China, and Cuba etc. The United Nations General Assembly, comprising all 193 member states, has unanimously chosen to govern artificial intelligence (AI) prioritizing human control and dignity said by US Ambassador to the United Nations Linda Thomas-Greenfield.

Ambassador Linda Thomas-Greenfield highlighted the need for governance that prioritizes humanity and dignity, aiming to use AI to advance sustainable development goals while closing digital gaps.
