Microsoft for Education: What is in News?

In order to address the increasing demand of the cybersecurity skills Microsoft ought to train around 6K students, 200 educators in the country in government-led Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs) and National Skills Training Institutions (NSTIs). The aim of the program is to provide students with industry-relevant skills, enhancing their employability, and connecting them to relevant job opportunities. Secondly, the objective is to train faculty members who will train later students in computer operator and programming assistant (COPA). Under the name of ‘CyberShikshaa’ programme is to focus on providing basic and intermediate cybersecurity skills training while recruiting 10 NSTIs for women.
