Meanwhile, on the other hand, the newly wedded wife of Deepak, Phool finds herself abandoned at a train station, where she refuses to return home out of fear. She soon befriends a stranger named Manju Mai, who helps her survive and provides him with food, shelter and a job at her tea stall. On the other hand, Nirmal Pradesh SI Shyam Manohar doubted Jaya of being a long-searched thief, which led to her forceful arrest. Soon, Deepak’s family is shocked to know about Jaya’s deception but soon Deepak learns of her difficult past—forced into marriage and longing for independence. In the last episodes of tTheLaapataa Ladies, Phool finds strength and independence while working at the Manju Mai tea stand, while Jaya’s dreams of pursuing organic farming start to flourish in Deepak’s house.
