Darshan Thoogudeepa Was Arrested For Exotic Bird: The local authority had filed an FIR against Kannada actor Darshan Thoogudeepa  In the WideLife Act. In the filed report, he was arrested by authorities for illegally occupying a bar-headed goose which is an exotic bird, at his private farmhouse in Karnataka’s T Narsipura. Over this matter, Karnataka Environment and Forest Minister Eshwar Khandre stated that action would be taken against those who had broken the law, noting that the issue was one and a half years old. He mentioned that the police were now revisiting the matter and assured that regardless of who had committed the illegal act, they would face consequences. He added that the forest department would investigate the issue. He further stated that a chargesheet would be filed against those found guilty. He mentioned that there are hundreds of cases in the Karnataka High Court and the Supreme Court, and questioning is ongoing at every stage. He assured that action would be taken according to the results of the investigation.
