KL Rahul Out of IPL and WTC Final: IS KL RAHUL LEAVING?
KL Rahul Out of IPL and WTC Final: Due to an injury sustained in a match against Royal Challengers Bangalore, Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) suffered a significant setback in their IPL 2023 campaign when their captain, KL Rahul, was ruled out for the remainder of the tournament. Karun Nair, a former RCB star, was quickly announced as his replacement by LSG via a tweet featuring Nair’s widely shared “Dear Cricket” post.
LSG affirmed that Rahul’s physical issue will require a medical procedure, likewise managing him out of the forthcoming Scene Test Title last against Australia. Nair, who has played for four different IPL teams, will make his tenth IPL appearance for LSG. In his 76 previous appearances, he has scored 1496 runs and 10 fifties.
LSG currently ranks second in the IPL 2023 points table with 11 points earned from five victories in ten matches. On May 7, in Ahmedabad, they will play the Gujarat Titans, who lead the table. LSG’s chances of remaining in the tournament are expected to improve following the acquisition of Nair for INR 50 lakhs.
