EKUVERIN- In the12th edition of the joint military exercise,  Indian Army & the Maldives National Defence Force has commenced a joint military exercise at Chaubatia, Uttarakhand from 11 to 24 June 2023 recently.

A platoon strength contingent from the Indian Army and Maldives National Defence Force is participating in a 14 days long exercise, where they are aiming at increasing the cooperation of the national while enhancing their skills in Counter Insurgency/ Counter Terrorism Operations under the UN mandate and carry out joint Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Relief operations. During the exercise, both forces incorporated with each other on multiple defense exercises, while adapting each other capability.
