2+2: In the annual dialogue, India and Brazil held their 2+2 dialogue for defence and foreign ministerial dialogue, where they sought to increase cooperation across various sectors, emphasizing energy, critical minerals, technology, and counter-terrorism. The dialogue took place in Delhi, where External Affairs Ministry spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal said “Discussions spanned defence, space, energy, critical minerals, tech, counter-terrorism and regional, multilateral & other issues of mutual interest,”. An additional secretary co-chaired it in the external affairs ministry G V Srinivas and a joint secretary in the defence ministry Vishwesh Negi, where the Director of the Brazilian foreign ministry Marcelo Camara and Rear Admiral Fernando de Luca Marques de Oliviera led the Brazilian delegation during the talk.
