“Anjaam” follows the journey of the protagonist, Shivani Chopra, portrayed by Madhuri Dixit. The movie starts with Shivani who is an air hostess for Air India and living a normal life alongside her sister Padmisha (Sudha Chandran) and brother-in-law Mohanlal (Tinnu Anand). However, her life takes a turn when she encounters Vijay Agnihotri, played by Shah Rukh Khan, a wealthy industrialist instantly who becomes infatuated with her. Despite Shivani’s consistent rejections, Vijay’s obsession with her starts going up which follows a series of manipulative tactics to win her affection. However, Shivani remains hard and fast in her commitment to her husband Ashok Chopra (Deepak Tijori). To escape the torture of him, Shivani and her husband Ashok relocate to America, attempting to escape Vijay’s relentless pursuit. But Vijay, unwilling to accept defeat, orchestrates a series of events that. He soon starts getting new heights as he resorts to manipulation, betrayal, and violence to achieve his desires. At the end of the movie, Shivani finds herself trapped in a web of deceit, o to finally kill her obsessive lover played by King Khan
